The Interbank professional networking events offer an opportunity to meet and socialise with other LGBTQ+ people working within financial services, in an informal business environment.
Everyone is welcome and we continue to focus on encouraging our Women+ members to attend as part of a drive to increase presence and visibility. With this in mind this month we will have hosts Marion Bentata (State Street) and Ewa Pisarczyk (BNY Mellon).
This month we would like to highlight LGBT History Month. This is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.
Some of you might have noticed in the news there was a fire at Law Society in January. Although this was in a different building from where we hold the networking events.
