Interbank Theatre Night

Interbank Theatre Night – Beauty on the Piste – Friday 2nd December 2016

Interbank welcomes you to join us for an evening performance of BEAUTY ON THE PISTE, Friday 2nd December at the Above the Stag Theatre. Friends, colleagues, & family members welcome.

This is a self-funded event and tickets are offered on a first-come first-served basis.

By attending this event you will be supporting the UK’s only full-time professional LGBT theatre. As a registered charity, Above The Stag Theatre also hosts exhibitions, rehearsed readings and other events throughout its annual programming offering new writers, photographers and other forms of artists a platform to present their work.

Synopsis: A brand new show from our award-winning team, Beauty on the Piste promises all the (adult) panto traditions: filthy jokes, delightful silliness, songs, romance, and a plot that just about resembles a much-loved story from long, long ago. It’s ski season in the Alpine village of Les Denise, and everything’s going downhill. When a stroppy yeti captures young Beau’s father, Beau bravely trades places with the old man and resigns himself to a life of imprisonment with the beast and his irksome collection of talking toilet brushes. Has Beau seen his last Christmas? Will love save the day? Will the beast, please God, at least be a top?

From the writers and directors of last year’s sell-out hit Tinderella: 4 STARS / “Splendidly funny… As camp as Christmas and brilliantly boisterous – not to be missed”  Time Out 5 STARS / “A glorious celebration… Very silly and quite brilliant.” Gay Times 4 STARS / “Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper have consistently set the benchmark in bawdy social satire with this gig, celebrating club culture, inclusivity and diversity in a refreshingly irreverent way” The Stage
