SUMMARY:DB and Stonewall. Building Home: Discovering Ourselves. Being There for Each Other [ OPEN to All ]
DESCRIPTION:DB and Stonewall are holding an event to mark World Mental Health Day\, Coming Out Day and now Rainbow Laces Day. October 8th is also International Lesbian Day.  \nRegister here: https://dbevents.db.com/buildinghome \n \nInvitation\nBuilding a sense of home begins with understanding who we are — but it also depends on the people willing to be there for us along the way. Bringing together World Mental Health Day and National Coming Out Day\, Building Home will explore the deeply personal journeys of discovering and sharing who we are\, caring for our mental health\, and supporting the people in our lives as they navigate their own journeys.\nThrough personal stories and candid conversation\, we will hear from LGBTQ+ people\, parents\, caregivers\, colleagues and allies about what it means to show\nup for one another — through moments of discovery\, uncertainty\, challenge and change. Building on dbPride’s 2026 theme\, When I Think of Home\, we’ll consider how each of us can help build environments — in our families\, our communities and our workplaces — where people feel safe\, supported and able to thrive. Because sometimes finding our way home starts with knowing someone will be there for us along the way. \n  \nAgenda\n17:30 Arrival\n18:00 Welcome\, video and keynote\n18:15 Panel discussion\n19:00 Special Performance 19:15 Networking Reception\n20:30 Carriages
